Types of Past Tense

1. Simple Past Tense
Used to indicate an action that happened in the past.
Structure : Subject + Verb in past form + ...
Usage : He worked in Cricket Stadium.
2. Past Continuous Tense
Used to indicate an action that is happening in the past.
Structure : Subject + Verb + ing ...
Usage : He was driving to temple.
3. Past Perfect Tense
Used to indicate that happened in the past.
Structure : Subject + had + Verb in past participle form + ...
Usage : He had reached temple after rain was over
4. Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Used to indicate that happened in the past and still going in past.
Structure : Subject + had + been + Verb in past form + ...
Usage : He had been going to temple.
